Michael Fearer is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Chagrin Falls, OH who attends Kenston. Athletic player with a good pitcher's build. Starts motion with high leg kick, delivery has effort in it, throws from 3/4 slot. Fast paced delivery with a short stride and long arm action. Fastball showed arm side run. Good command and feel for a 1/7 curveball that showed slurvy break. Also threw a changeup at 69 with sink and developing feel. Potential for more velocity and more consistent off-speed pitches with slight mechanical adjustments. Excellent student.
