Gage West is a 2013 C/OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lincoln HS. Strong athletic build, looks the part. 7.09 runner, athletic actions behind the plate, moves and shifts well, stays low, flexible and compact in his actions, very good arm strength, 2.01 accurate game throw, exchange still isn't consistent. Left handed hitter, short simple swing mechanics, has some strength and raw bat speed, line drive contact, solid contact. Athlete with projectable tools and skills. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State.
