Kyle Pluta is a 2013 RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from North Ridgeville, OH who attends St. Ignatius HS. Lean athletic build, room to get stronger. Slow paced delivery, simple repeatable mechanics, arm works well coming through, works downhill. Consistent 85 mph fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side run, works fastball down in zone well. Curveball has smaller break with some tightness and 11/5 shape, good feel for location, flashed quality change up with good sink. Three solid pitches and some pitchability. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
