Bakari Gayle is a 2015 SS/OF, RHP with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Redan. Long frame, tall and lanky, lots of room to fill, projectable strength. Moves well in all phases with good athleticism. Long swing generates good bat speed with length through the backside but is also long through the zone as well. Already shows raw power, homered in BP, projects to develop power further as he matures physically. Good baseball instincts on the basepaths and in the field, also made good decisions at the plate and showed an idea how to pitch. Good range up the middle defensively, moves well, long arm action, hands work. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot, long arm action, repeats delivery well, arm side run on fastball, 11-5 curveball with some depth. Interesting young player to follow. Good student.

Bakari Gayle is a 2015 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Redan HS. Long, lean and loose build, very projectable. Right handed hitter, upright narrow stance, deep load, long and loose swing, present bat speed, has lift and extension in his swing, handles the barrel well, plus power potential. 6.82 runner, moves well in the middle infield, low quick release, accurate throws, some arm strength, has outfield tools as well. Also pitched, long extended arm action, balanced on line delivery, repeats well, fastball up to 81 mph, have seen 85 mph earlier this summer, showed some spin and depth on a slow curveball. High energy player, likes to play. Defines projection in a young athlete, follow closely. Good student.
