Jack Morello is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Notre Dame HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Standard delivery, long extended arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, arm works pretty well. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight, can work down in zone better. Change up best pitch, good arm speed and release, late sinking action, very good deception, threw strikes with change up. Did not show a breaking ball. Right handed hitter, busy load, moves through contact well, line drive swing with some bat speed, squares up well, hard pull contact. Good student.

Jack Morello is a 2013 RHP/OF, 1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Notre Dame. Morello has a large frame with an athletic build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. His arm works well and he has arm speed. The ball comes out of his hand clean and he projects for more velocity. Morello has good rhythm in his delivery and pitches with max effort. He throws an 11/5 curveball with tight spin and bite. He also throws a sinking change up at 78 MPH that he has feel for. Morello lands on a stiff front leg which caused some control issues, with a couple adjustments he could really improve command. He showed good outfield actions with solid footwork. He has bat speed at the plate with quick hands. Morello has a good swing and gets some extension. Solid two-way guy, good student.

Jack Morello is a 2013 RHP/OF/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Notre Dame HS. Slender young look, lots of room to get stronger. Simple rotational delivery, compact arm action, some effort at release, high 3/4's slot. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 85 mph, mostly straight. Change up is top off speed pitch, throws it confidently and gets outs with it. Soft flat slurve and softer curveball still at the developing stage. Shows good outfield tools and athleticism. Long right handed swing, back side tends to fly out, hits to all fields and gets the ball in the air. Should keep improving.
