Contact approach, line drive swing plane, stays back on offspeed pitches well. Moves well defensively, especially to his left. Good defensive footwork, short arm action, soft smooth hands. Pitches from an over the top arm slot, short arm action, throws strikes, good command. Carried himself well, plays with good energy. Good student.
