Devin Williams is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-3 172 lb. frame from Florissant, MO who attends Hazelwood West HS. Outstanding athletic build, long and loose, starting to get stronger, looks 6-4/190 now. Slow paced side step delivery, leans back in delivery, long clean deep arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill to the bottom of the zone. Consistent low 90's fastball, topped out at 94 mph, commands fastball well, very good run and sink at times, velocity comes easily. Change up best off speed pitch, maintains arm speed well, creates life, keeps change up down in zone. Slider still developing, shortens arm arch, tends to bury it, flashes good spin with proper velocity. Would like to see better body angle in delivery. Top 2 round type arm if slider advances this spring. Signed with Missouri.

Fast paced delivery with side step start, sideways drift and lands open, loose clean arm action, 3/4's release point, has horizontal leverage at present as opposed to vertical leverage, needs to get delivery on line. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 91 mph, maintains velocity very well, occasional hard running life. Very good change up, excellent fade and sink at times, has confidence in change up. Hand drop delivery with full arm circle, gets turned well, loose whippy arm coming through, throws downhill, will fall off on release occasionally. Fastball topped at 91 mph, heavy life down in the zone. Change up very nice pitch at times, big sinking action. Threw both curveball and slider, flashed quality curveball spin when on top, good feel for locating soft slider. Very projectable young arm who can improve in all areas. National level prospect. Verbal commitment to Missouri.
