Defensively, he moves well around the bag at 1B and has good hands. He can make the picks in the dirt and has solid 1B skills. At the plate, DeJesus maintains balance through his swing and he generates bat speed. He showed good contact to the pullside with some power potential. He has some hitting tools and the bat is his best tool. He also pitches and has a repeatable delivery with some downhill plane on his fastball. Good student.

Left handed hitter, straight stance, good coil and lower half use, swings hard, looks to drive the ball, line drive swing plane, ball comes off the barrel well, power potential, tends to get long and off balance at times, hitting tools to develop.
