Sterling Mack is a 2006 OF from The Lovett School in Powder Springs, Georgia, with a 6'0'', 160 lb. frame. He is a lean and athletic player with very good speed and quickness. Mack ran the sixty in 6.95 on a very slow and wet track, and he also showed his speed and athleticism on the bases and in the outfield. Defensively he has a good throwing motion and solid arm strength with online carry. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with a narrow base. He is short to the ball with good bat speed. Mack is a line drive hitter who uses his upper body well in his swing and stays balanced throughout. He has good bat control and has the ability to make adjustments with his hands and hit the ball to the opposite field. He is an athletic player with good upside.
