Philip Saglietto is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Marlboro, NJ who attends Marlboro. Extra-large, athletic frame with a strong and mature build. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a high three-quarter arm slot with a long arm action in the back. Stays tall and balanced on back side and rotates hip well through delivery. Uses height to creates leverage in delivery, works downhill with fastball that topped out at 81 mph and flashed cutting action. Shows a feel for an 11-5 curveball at 66 mph with tight spin, late break, and depth. With better command it will become an effective pitch. Very good student.
