Jordan Barr is a 2013 RHP/3B/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from South Sioux City, NE who attends Bishop Heelan HS. Tall, slender gangly build, room to get stronger. Opens lower 1/2 very early in delivery, kicks leg straight out to plate, keeps hands away from body, high 3/4's release with low elbow, gets some downhill angle to the plate. Fastball to 78 mph, challenges hitters and throws strikes with fastball, mostly straight. Soft curveball and rare change up, primary fastball pitcher. Left handed hitter, spread no stride approach, upper cut swing plane, flashes lift and power at times, long in games. Good student.
