Blaze Bohall is a 2014 RHP/SS with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Glendale, AZ who attends Mountain Ridge HS. Small slender build, minimal present strength. Simple slow paced delivery, compact high arm action in back, hides the ball well, high 3/4's arm slot with good downhill angle, quick arm coming through. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, varies fastball velocity and location well, mostly straight, fastball gets on hitters quickly due to deception. Short curveball with a fairly late break, some 2-plane action, tends to lower release slot on change up and tip the pitch. Has an idea how to mix it up and pitch. Good student.
