Patton Collie is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Deer Creek HS. Long and lanky athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Tall delivery with short stride, long arm action, 3/4's arm slot, can improve use of front side in delivery, some effort at release. Fastball topped at 84 mph, gets nice cutting action when down in the zone, tends to leave fastball up due to short stride. Slider shows tight spin and occasional sharp downer bite, good pitch when he gets on top of it. Has the build/frame to keep improving with strength and the arm to keep improving with some delivery adjustments. Outstanding student.
