Josh Davis is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Tulsa, OK who attends Union. Long thin athletic build, projectable body. Moves well in OF, long strides, good routes and range. Long arm action, good footwork. Quick hands at the plate, opposite field approach, keeps hands inside the baseball well, contact approach, good bat speed. Short to the ball, good extension, uses lower half, flashed some pop, potential to drive the ball with increased strength. Showed good instincts on the basepaths, speed played well. Pitches from high three quarter arm slot, long loose arm action, low effort delivery, good sink on straight changeup, throws strikes, fastball tails. Good student.
