Carson Larue is a 2014 RHP/IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Dewey, OK who attends Dewey HS. Medium build with slender upper half, stronger lower half, young look. Simple slow paced delivery, some lean back, high extended 3/4's release point, good downhill angle, arm works well and projects. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, cuts fastball occasionally, hard front side forces FB up in zone at times. Big breaking curveball, good spin and shape, 2-plane depth when out front with it. Everything projects, going to throw hard and have a hammer in two years. Good student.
