Lawrence Armijo is a 2013 C/2B/RHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Summit HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, high deep hand set, long loose swing, has some bat speed, line drive plane, stays on ball well, consistent solid contact, best contact pulling, has some leverage at contact. Low set up receiving, good flexibility and blocking skills, long release with excess movement, 1.99 best pop time, can also play second base. Slow paced delivery on the mound, pause at the top, effort release, fastball topped at 76 with lots of life in all directions, short curveball break, threw strikes. Good student.
