Evan Lobato is a 2014 RHP/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Brick, NJ who attends Brick Township. Medium athletic build with more strength to come. Simple mechanics on mound. 3/4 slot, long arm action in back. Long stride, stays online and works downhill. Fastball showed occasional cut. Curveball with 10/4 break is off-speed pitch with potential. Potential as a middle infielder, loose hands with feel. Range to both sides, arm strength solid at present, projecting for more. Right handed hitter, open stance, balanced approach. Rotational swing with line drive contact. Very good student.
