Charlie Vizcaya is a 2012 LHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Yabucoa, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Very slender build, minimal present strength. Fast paced delivery, keeps hands separated from body, loose quick arm that works well, some effort at release, works quickly. Uses cutter as primary pitch, steady upper 70's with late bite and occasional depth, quality pitch. 4-seam fastball can reach 83 mph but used infrequently. Lacks present feel for curveball and change up. Loose left handed arm and could improve with additional strength and work on off speed.
