Tyler Matheny is a 2015 OF/2B/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Peyton, CO who attends Pine Creek HS. Lean, projectable frame with room to fill out with added strength. Strong runner, posted a 6.93 60-yard dash. Long, quick arm action with an over the top arm action. Shows good arm strength with some effort and accuracy to the base. Throws will carry better when on top of the ball. Right-handed batter, starts with an upright stance. Upper half swing, short path to the ball with consistent barrel contact. Line drive swing path with line drive contact to the middle of the field and showed the ability to hit to all fields. Strength in swing should continue to develop. Good student.
