John Vergara is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends John Marshall HS. Smaller young build, developing strength. Works from stretch, simple step and throw delivery, limited lower 1/2 use, long slinging mid 3/4's arm action, will occasionally drop elbow and throw uphill. Upper 60's fastball, good fade when down, soft curveball with sweeping break, very soft change up that really teases hitters. Some feel for pitching and threw strikes and make hitters swing. Young and will get stronger.
