Angel Lerma is a 2014 RHP with a 5-9 148 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends John Marshall HS. Slender young build, developing strength. Leg raise delivery, some back side collapse, some effort on release, 3/4's release, tends to pitch on a flat plane. Loose arm coming through, fastball topped at 80 mph, mostly straight but throws fastball to spots and corners, has an idea. Curveball shows good spin and depth when on top, tends to drop shoulder early on CB and get under it. Some feel for change up with good fade. Has pitchability and will add velocity with strength.
