2013 Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Showcase
Corey Binger is a 2014 RHP/SS with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Victoria, MN who attends Eden Prairie HS. Nice projectable pitcher's build, broad shoulders and loose actions. Simple leg lift delivery, stays back and balanced and pitches tall, works downhill and gets over his front side, over the top release point, arm action is loose and easy. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight but with good angle. Confident in his mid 70's change up, good arm speed and command/feel, short breaking soft slider with some downer shape still developing. Around the plate with all pitches and is aggressive. Needs to improve his breaking ball but easy to see 86-88 mph in his near future. Follow closely. Good student.
