Cole Scieszinski is a 2015 C/RHP with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Urbandale, IA who attends Urbandale HS. Shorter, stocky, compact build, flashes some present strength. Gets nice and low behind the plate, good receiving skills. Gets rid of the ball quickly, clean transfer, arm strength is solid, could be some more on the way. Right-handed batter, well balanced stance, no wasted movement. Good swing path, knows the strike zone well and squares the ball up consistently. Flashes power potential, solid contact to the opposite field. Also pitches, reached 79 mph on his fastball, works quickly out of a simple, compact delivery. Also mixed a 66 mph curveball with slurvy action. Good student.
