Cody Miller is a 2013 2B/RHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Ottumwa, IA who attends Ottumwa HS. Medium, compact frame. Short strides on the infield, feet showed some quickness. Hands field cleanly, short arm action, throws are accurate. Projects well at 2B. Right-handed hitter with short swing. Opposite field approach with best contact going to right field. Level swing plane, solid contact skills. Simple mechanics on the mound, step and throw delivery. Most comfortable throwing curveball. Pitch has 11/5 break and he shows solid feel for it. Very good student.

Cody Miller is a 2013 RHP with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Ottumwa, IA who attends Ottumwa HS. Smaller build, young look. Very sound mechanics, long arm swing, loose coming through, over the top release, repeats well. Mid 70's fastball, mostly straight with occasional sink, consistent release between fastball and curveball, gets over curveball well with big downer shape, rare change up. Works quickly, throws to spots and has an idea. Right handed hitter, long stride, line drive swing plane, minimal load and simple swing mechanics, solid contact. Good all around skills and fundamentals, will improve with additional strength. Good student.
