Cody Migliore is a 2012 C/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Memphis, TN who attends Tipton Rosemark Academy. Medium frame, lean build. Good agility behind the plate, late feet to block but quickness makes up for it. Flashy receiver, fluid and athletic, can squeeze ball, good arm behind the plate, quick feet on throwdown, short arm action, quick release. Takes big hacks, balanced approach, line drive plane, smooth load, quick hands. Patient approach, maintains balance well, long swing, solid tools, surprising pop for size, hitting tools to develop. Simple delivery, repeatable pitching mechanics, rare HS pitcher with a legitimate knuckleball with sinking and boring action resembling movement of a plus changeup but unpredictable direction and timing of movement. Carried himself well, likely plays above his tools.
