Alex Good is a 2015 RHP/UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Nevada, IA who attends Nevada HS. Young athletic build, has some strength for his age. Long extended arm action, over the top release point, tends to fly open early with his front side, medium effort on release. Fastball topped at 78 mph, good downward plane, mostly straight, gets good spin and shape on a downer curveball. Has the tools to improve with delivery adjustments. Right handed hitter, spread stance, leg lift trigger, has the beginnings of some bat speed, line drive swing plane, mid field contact, has the strength to reach the gaps. Plays both infield and outfield, best in the outfield at present, tends to have same outfield throwing mechanics with open front side as pitching. Good student.
