Timothy Sparkman is a 5-11/170, 2007, shortstop from Ennis,TX with 7.44 sixty speed and 5.05 home to first time. He is much better than the 5.05 time listed, we never had a ball to get a good time on him with. Sparkman is a right handed hitter who swings the bat well. He shows good balance and good set up at the plate. He attacks the ball with very good line drive power. Sparkman's bat projects to the next level. In the infield he shows second base type tools with soft hands and 76 mph arm strength. He is late in getting down on many ground balls and throws from a low 3/4 slot which does cost him some velocity. He should be able to throw harder with adjustements. Sparkman also pitched a bit. On the mound he throws from a low 3/4 arm slot. He has a short arm action with some effort. He shows very good hard armside run on his fb. 76fb and 67cb. Cb was ok with ave hs spin. Needs to finish a little better and change speeds more often. Sparkman is an excellent student.
