Tommy Roebuck is a 6'3", 200 lb. athlete in the 2006 class from Sour Lake, Texas. He has a strong, mature body for his age. On the mound, Roebuck threw 81-82 mph from a compact delivery and short arm stroke. Roebuck’s high ¾ release point gave him good plane to the plate and gave him a nice angle for his 66-68 mph curveball. Roebuck’s curveball was very sharp and tight at times and is his best pitch. He also threw a couple of change ups. Roebuck is also a switch hitter with some potential with the bat. His swing from the left side is much smoother and quicker, and he showed some power potential that’s worth following. Roebuck is an excellent student.
