Bal is a 5-10 sophomore infielder from Georgia with a live, projectable body. He’ll need to add plenty of strength in the future but has the frame to do it. Bal ran the 60 in 7.62 but showed nice range in the field. His hands work well on defense and he had a good release with developing arm strength. Bal hits from an open stance and chokes up for bat control. He has a short swing and looks to hit to the opposite field and up the middle. Bal is selective at the plate and has good instincts and knowledge of the game for his age. He should continue to develop with hard work and repetitions.
