Marcos Vega is a 2013 3B/2B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Calimesa, CA who attends Redlands East Valley HS. Medium build, has some present strength. Has nice actions at third base, soft hands, quick exchange and release, accurate throws, charges the ball hard, quick release makes up for only fair raw arm strength. Right handed hitter, spread stance, open to close with big leg raise, short quick line drive swing, loose extension out front, squares the ball up to the middle of the field. Sound fundamental player who plays hard. Good student.
