James Kelly is a 2015 3B/2B, RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Oceanport, NJ who attends Shore Regional. Lean, slender build with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Gets body in front of ball, showed ability to surround ball. Step and throw mechanics with arm strength that projects for more. Left handed hitter with simple approach at plate, Weight on front side, long swing path with good bat control. More to come on swing with additional strength. As a pitcher, balanced delivery with 3/4 slot, fastball for strikes with late tail. Curveball for strikes, 10/4 break, good feel.
