Herminio Pereira is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Colegio Radians HS. Slender square shouldered build, minimal present strength, young look. Leg raise delivery, stays over the rubber well, good balance, extended mid 3/4's arm slot, solid overall mechanics. Fastball topped at 74 mph, cuts his fastball very well at 71 mph, big sweeping curveball with proper release point and good spin. Has the mechanics, arm and pitches to improve with more strength. Also plays outfield, 7.51 runner, switch hitter with bent knee stance, soft line drive swing. Development will be keyed by adding strength. Very good student.
