2004 Sunshine East Showcase
Blake Marsocci is a 2005 RHP from Okeechobee, FL. He is a very projectable 6'1" right handed pitcher with excellent pitching mechanics and a smooth, easy, effortless arm action. He threw his fastball 84-85 mph at Sunshine East and there isn’t any question that there is plenty more velocity there if Marsocci can add strength without making any changes to his delivery and arm stroke. Marsocci also throws a 66-68 mph curveball and 73-75 mph change up. There are some things that Marsocci can do to get better movement on his fastball and tighten up his curveball, but the basics are there for him to become a very good pitcher at the next level. He could end up being very special at the next level. Blake is a good student.
