Cooper Wright is a 2015 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Hartselle, AL who attends Hartselle. Tall lanky build, lot of room to fill, projectable frame. Pitches from deceptive low 3/4 arm slot, simple delivery, maintains balance well for lanky young pitcher. Cross body, 11-5 curveball with depth. Showed good hands defensively at 1B and quickness around bag. Balanced swing, pre-swing movement throws off timing at start, lacks extension. Excellent student.
