Ezekiel Bear is a 2016 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Ranch HS. Big frame, strong physical build. Good present bat speed, very strong for age, drives the ball with authority, present raw power with potential to develop further. Short to the ball for a hitter who uses a power approach, good extension through the baseball, carries well off the barrel, uppercut swing path. Solid defensive footwork, showed advanced instincts for a freshman, accurate throws. Interesting young prospect to follow.
