Bobby Amato is a 5'8" 160 pound 2006 infielder and outfielder from Cooper City, Florida who attends Pembroke Pines Charter High School. He has a short stocky build that is very athletic. Bobby makes solid contact at the plate with a nice smooth swing. He puts the ball in play and has a nice approach to the opposite field. He shows some loft in his swing with good bat speed. Amato has a short quick transfer in the field. He has a quick release and good footwork with soft hands as well. He plays fast and hard and has solid tools with great desire to play. Bobby will be a top prospect at the next level and is a very good student as well.
