Paul Burmester is a 2013 C/3B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Columbia, MD who attends Atholton. Strong, solidly built player with some athleticism, good build. Ran a 7.41 60 yard. Looks comfortable behind the plate, needs to tighten up his arm action, flashes some arm strength, has the right footwork for the position. Right-handed hitter, short swing path, needs to get his lower half more involved, lets the ball track deep in the zone and hits the ball to the opposite field very well. Makes consistent line drive contact, good pop in his bat. Good student.
