Jordan Diaz is a 2015 3B/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Rockaway, NJ who attends Marist. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength on his frame. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, shows nice footwork to the ball with athleticism, full arm action, longer release, good carry and accuracy on throws with strength. Accurate throws from the outfield with some strength, getting on top of ball will help improve carry. Right-handed batter, starts with a medium hand set. Stays compact through swing, gets the barrel through the zone, opens front side early at time, creates contact to pull side and the middle of the field with hard contact off the barrel. Very good student.
