Cory Wabinga is a 2015 OF/RHP, C with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Kent, WA who attends Kentwood HS. Wabinga has a medium-athletic build. As an outfielder he had an over the top release with long arm action and accurate throws with online carry. As a right handed pitcher he threw from an over the top arm angle with long-loose arm action with good mound presence. Had good arm speed with an online finish with good extension out front. As a right handed hitter he hit from a slightly open stance with a middle of the field approach and a line drive swing plane. He squared the ball up with an aggressive approach at the plate.
