Kyle Yockey is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Layton, UT who attends Layton Christian Academy. Medium athletic build, some present strength. 6.85 runner, moves well to the ball in the infield, short flipping arm action, has more arm strength with better infield throwing mechanics, second base tools at present. Right handed hitter, back side hitter, limited shift, loose extension through contact, stays inside the ball, spray line drive contact. Aggressive baserunner who uses his speed on the bases. Also pitched, balanced low effort delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, primary fastball pitcher, topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight, mixed in occasional slider with some depth. Very good student.
