Tyler Cohen is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Woodland Hills, CA who attends Agoura HS. Lean athletic build, young look, projects well. 6.93 runner, very athletic defensive player, made spectacular defensive plays at all IF positions, has a flair for playing defense, quick exchange and release, more arm strength than gun shows, closes on balls very quickly. Right handed hitter, short and quick line drive swing, moves into contact well, solid mid field contact, high average approach, hits under control. Also pitched, very short look, upper 80's fastball, big sweeping slider, quick arm, 3/4's release, has an idea how to pitch. Very versatile athlete who plays above his raw tools, plays hard. Good student.
