Tyler Ruehlman is a 2006 third baseman/outfielder from Apopka, FL with a medium build that shows good strength at 5-10, 180 lbs. Defensively, he has a short quick arm action at 74 mph with accuracy and carry. He has quick feet with good range and he made 2 very nice plays up the middle to rob base hits at shortstop. He hits from a balanced stance with no load and a leg lift trigger. He has strong hands and he generates good bat speed with a line drive swing plane. He has solid skills with the glove and he will hit at the next level. He is a good infielding prospect to follow for 2006. Tyler is a good student.
