William Griffin is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Kennesaw Mountain. Slender, tall frame with outstanding projection, should add significant strength. Pitches right over the top with a long arm action, everything works loose and clean, ball comes out of his hand well, has a mild head snap. Could get his legs more involved, high leg lift, gets closed at his balance point. Fastball sits 86-89 mph, some good sink, pitches with a rhythm, some effort to his fastball. Spins 11-5 curveball, a little inconsistent at present, potential to be much better, throws it for strikes. Also flashed a solid changeup. High level follow, will continue to improve. Excellent student.
