Davis Brown is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Coral Gables, FL who attends Gulliver Prep. Medium frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with downhill plane to his pitches. Showed an idea how to pitch, 12-6 shape on curveball with downer break, threw it for low strikes. Slow pace to delivery, lacks extension out front, could throw harder by finishing pitches better, gets swinging strikes with changeup. Hits from a still start, line drive swing plane, pull approach, solid bat speed, contact out front. Excellent student.
