Zachary Warren is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ who attends St. Augustine Prep. Long and lean projectable pitcher's build. Slow paced delivery with pause at the top, will have to speed up out of the stretch, picks up plate late, cross body release, has some deception, arm stroke is clean and loose. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 84 mph, projects move velo in the future, turns over fastball with sink/run. Nice change up with arm speed and life, confident in change up, flashes big breaking slider with 2 plane shape, mixes it up and knows how to pitch, throws all three pitches for strikes. Easy to imagine big future improvement, follow closely. Good student.
