Ryan Smith is a 2014 OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends City/Pembroke Pines Charter. Athletic solid build with a large frame. Makes good accurate throws with arm strength and good footwork. Takes good routes to fly balls which allows him to cover lots of ground. Starts out with a slightly open stance with an aggressive swing, middle of the field approach, with good bat speed and makes solid contact. Line drive swing plane, gets good extension, has power potential, and hits the ball to all fields. Is a excellent student.
