Hector Lora is a 2013 RHP/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Somerset Academy Charter. Solid build, has some athleticism, projectable body has room to add strength. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot, arm action is long, high leg kick, good extension out in front. Has good arm speed, everything works clean, stays very balanced, gets under his pitches at times. Fastball sits 80-82 mph, shows arm side run, misses up in the zone with location. Pitches with curveball in the low 70s, gets a little loopy at times, 11-5 rotation. Mixes a changeup with good differential in the low 70s. Shows some pitchability and has a feel for his secondary pitches. Good student.
