Tommy Pincin is a 2014 C/RHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Upland, CA who attends Upland HS. Strong thick athletic build. 6.88 runner, agile shifting behind the plate, low flexible set up, solid present arm strength, arm stroke and release a bit long, 1.94 best pop, accurate throws, very good all around catching tools, also has the athletic ability to play other positions. Right handed hitter, spread stance, wrapped start, simple effective swing mechanics, line drive swing, squares it up well, ball comes off the barrel hard. Also pitched, cross body delivery, quick compact arm, hides ball well, tight high 3/4's release point. Consistent mid 80's fastball, topped at 86 mph, mostly straight, low 70's curveball with good spin and 12/6 downer depth at times, threw strikes with both pitches. Very good all around athlete with baseball skills. Good student.

He has very good arm strength with carry on his throws. He has solid catch and throw tools and stays low on his pop throws. He moves well behind the plate with good receiving skills. At the plate, Pincin starts with a square stance with a wide base and rotational swing. He Has very good bat speed with a good swing path to the ball. Pincin has present power and more power potential in there. He's also a very good runner at 6.79 and was up to 87 MPH on the mound. He is a legit two-way guy with projectable tools all the way around. Good student.
