Tim Carter is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Live Oak, FL who attends Suwannee. Medium athletic build and a thin frame with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.14 60 yard dash. Moves well in the outfield, good foot work, gets in a good position to make the throw. Long arm action, some effort, shows sound throwing mechanics, clean out of hand with good arm strength and accuracy. On the mound, works exclusively from the stretch and from a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball topped at 82 with tailing life. Curveball shows good spin and tight 11-5 break and getting swings and misses with the pitch. Right handed hitter starts with a quiet hand set and uses a leg kick trigger. Short path to the ball, shows bat speed, creates line drive contact, and gets some extension. Slight uppercut swing, uses strength in game setting, hard contact opposite way. Very good student. Named to National Underclass Session 3 Top Prospect Team.
