Mike Powers is a 2013 SS with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Weymouth, MA who attends Weymouth. Long, lean frame with room to fill and add strength. Choppy feet fielding on the infield, stays high when fielding, fields ball deep. More arm strength to come with strength, showed natural carry. Right handed hitter, wide base at the plate. Showed good ability to make contact. Long swing with extension, most comfortable taking ball to the opposite field. Projects for more as strength develops.
